ya. I heard Patrik Roy signs through the mail. I dont know his address though. I think you can send it through the Quebec Ramparts...but Im not really sure.

But for current players...just expect to wait quite a while. Some players give out pre-signed stuff. I know that Shanahan gives out free autographed photos. Just mail to the NHL Office in New York (address can be found in the database), and they will send you a signed photo free of charge! They also include expresspost and everything. Great deal! The Shanahan photo looks great in my collection! But just have fun! Its fun writing to these players but I have to admit that its even more fun checking your mailbox each day, and even MORE fun opening the stuff up. Its a great hobby thats for sure. Somethin that you should enjoy doin whenever you have freee time.

Hope that info in my last pm helps :)

Just a warning on Kariya, his are auto-penned while Selanne's are ghost-signed; at least that's been the case the past 5 years or so, and Selanne's were auto-penned about 10 years ago (sucks, because I've got all of those-- the Kariya autopen, the selanne autopen, and the Selanne ghostie).

Gretzky is definitely an auto-pen, Modano has a ghost-signer through the Stars' address but signs real through his home address. Roy will send a signed photo (you'll get your item back unsigned, but it's definitely better than nothing).

Roy used to send through e-mail requests, but now requires a SASE. Ken Dryden was also signing via e-mail requests for a while. Georges Laraque too.

Anyways, back to the topic at hand, send at the start of the season. Of course, it also depends on the player, as some save up all their mail for summer. Any chance you can tell us who you're planning on sending to?

You should send to him again.

Gagnerfan89: What i would do is if you dont receive your Mueller in say 2 months...send to him again and update him on your collection while asking for an autograph. I know the Jordan Staal supercollector on this site does that with Jordan Staal. And it has worked with him.
PM me if you dont understand.

I'll try once I get another copy of the card I sent the first time. I need him for my rookie Class set, and also made a custom.
