Added a bunch more. Apparently Dreger has on Twitter that there's a ton of interest in Chris Higgins. What a world!
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Only one I think the kings missed out on was Whitney. Guessing they either re-sign Frolov or sign Kovy. DL might be a genius in waiting everyone out and everyone spends all thei cap space and he has his pick of what's left. Some pretty nice leftovers out there.

With a lot of dmen signing on the first day, Kaberle's stock just rose up. A lot of Laugh fans are too darn eager to get rid of Kaberle, where as I don't want him to go. With Kaberle out, no one will be able to q-back the powerplay. On top of that, Burke will be hard-pressed to find a 50-point puck-moving dman for around 4.25mil/year.
Another stupid comment I keep hearing over the radio all day today is - AGAIN - Marc Savard to the Leafs. Are Torontonians this utterly stupid?????? 32 years old at 7 years for 4mil/year with a NTC who just got CLOCKED by Cooke. Seriously? Toronto fans AND media are too freaking stupid.

So far, I'm happy. We got Versteeg - 24yrs. old at around 3.3mil/year for about 2 more years I think. Proven starter, Calder cup finalist. 20 goals 50 points last year playing on the third line. Can play the PP and PK. Should shine well in the second line. We gave up Stalberg who couldn't play defense, DiDomenico who just got over a major hip surgery, and Paradis who's not showing that he can play yet.
Colby Armstrong - 27yrs old for 9mil/3yrs. Gritty guy, but I think Burke overpaid for him a bit. Should do well on the third line and possibly crack the second line.
So, thank you Brian Burke for not trading away Kaberle needlessly and picking up a couple of good pieces for a bunch of pylons and hockey pucks.

Always enjoy following these threads.
My one and only wish for UFA day & despite all the impossibility with the signings so far:
Turco to Montreal.
Failing that, any Canadian team. Please please please!
