    People Wanting EBAY prices

Just tired of everyone wanting ebay prices for there stuff.

IF YOU WANT EBAY PRICES ... SELL IT ON EBAY!

When they dont realize that they take a 10-12% loss by selling them on ebay. Plus the fact just because one went off 25% more than the others, doesn't mean yours will too.

    Just frustrating,

    Anyone else feel this way?

Well, look at the other end, some of us have picked up cards one by one over time and then people want ebay prices for hard to find short print cards. Well, due to the economy, everything is taking a nose dive, so its kind of hard to let your PC stuff go for a loss just because...you should be happy with getting ebay prices since lot of good stuff is selling for nothing nowadays. If I had a big money right now, forget selling or trading...I would be buying all day.

I agree, I get Ebay bucks so it lose money if I don't buy on Ebay. I get more annoyed with the folks who are like must sell or fire sell and still have Ebay prices. Or you get the old "getting out" then that person is buying the next day.

I understand the the more rare cards, but at least the card show have discount equal to ebay fees. Plus a little more in my opinion because you dont have to wait to see if your card wont end up being "the steal of the week".

Buyers are always looking for a deal - myself included. If I don't like the price you're selling the card for, I move on.

How about the fact that if you are buying a card on eBay for $100, why do you think it is worth less here? Because THEY are saving money? The eBay fees doesn't affect you, so why should you save money? Now I have no problem selling a card for a little less than eBay, but when you think you deserve to get a deal just because eBay charges fees, and SCF doesn't, than I wouldn't want to deal with you. People want eBay prices because, GASP, that is how much a BUYER paid for it.

I love those tags of "Fire Sale,Getting Out Of Hobby" and then they are buying the next day lol. Now im just a collector. This isnt my job or a money source of any sort so my oppinion may be skewed. I think its fair for a person to use ebay as a general "whats it really worth". What I dont think is fair is they just grab the Highest the card sold for and thats their asking price. There are obvious benefits to buying on both sites. The one constant thing for me that puts SCF ahead of Ebay is the communication you have with the buyer/seller and the shipping. I can ask any question or be asked any question about product and theres conversation about it. NOT ON EBAY. Also when i buy/sell on SCF the shipping is 20 times faster than ebay. Just my 2 cents
