Note the book he is reading.............
What more can anyone say???

The name of the book Obama is reading is called:
The Post-American World and it was written by a fellow Muslim.
"Post" America means the world After America! Please forward this picture to everyone you know, conservative or liberal.
I already know, the LEFT will say it's a "Body Double" or "photoshopped"......

Okay.
I have a copy of the Bible. Does that make me a Christian?

No - not at all, but I would encourage you to flip through it occasionally......
But WHY would an AMERICAN PRESIDENT be reading something like this???

I suppose it could be to get into the minds of people who want to see America destroyed? You can't fight your enemy if you don't know your enemy. The whole being CIC of the US Armed Forces and all.
Or there's the obvious answer - Obama hates America and is conspiring with muslims the world over to eradicate all Christians and bring forth the new Islamic empire.
I prefer to adhere to Occam's Razor.

Do you think Washington or Lincoln was reading "such stuff" to understand their enemy?
Oh, and by the way, doesn't Obama get a CIA/FBI briefing every morning??? I don't think either Washington or Lincoln did....................NOPE.

It's a book by Fareed Zakaria, who is the International Editor of Newsweek. If you knew anything about Zakaria or his book, you'd know that it's not a book that bashes America, but rather on how America fits into the world with rapidly growing countries such as China and India. People's hypersensitive grievances against Obama are laughable (as they were against Bush, etc).
Look into things a little bit deeper before you jump up on your soapbox.
P.S.- "Fellow Muslim?" Really? Absolutely ridiculous.Last edited by pghin08; 07-26-2010 at 05:23 PM.

I would actually recommend the book. Zakaria is a proud and well-respected Indian-American who has a sensational global perspective and a genuine concern for the well-being of the US.

I just checked out wiki on it - and it doesn't appear to have any singular political agenda in it - so....my first inclination of disgust (by the title) would be incorrect.

ummm....I'm a Republican and see nothing wrong with the book at all. Those that jump to conclusions of course would. But if anyone actually read the book its not about the bashing of America. Though it does mention subjects like the anti-Americanism to war in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as looking into the disappearing value of the dollar this book doesn't have as much to do about America as it more so does to the rise of china, followed by India as a powerhouse ranking in the world
