Since I am a player collector (only Jackie Robinson) I don't buy boxes to break. I used to back in the 80's and early 90's when I collected more players and sets etc.

For some reason back in 2001 I bought a box of UpperDeck SP Legendary Cuts. And I actually pulled a Jackie Robinson bat card. What are the odds of that? Pretty crazy.

I pulled a redemption for a 2006 Sweet Spot Reggie Bush/Derek Jeter dual auto /5

sold it for 800 bucks- would have been cool to see what the card looked like, but with the relative bust Bush has turned out to be, Im glad I got the money that i did for it

I went to CT to visit my dad, and we went to a LCS there, and he had 1 box of Donruss Prime cuts, and he was saving it for another customer, i asked if we could buy it, so he called his other store, and they had more so he gave it to us. Of course my dad paid for it so the card went to him, but i opened it. I believe I said HOLY SH*&, but sitting on top uncirculated was the..........

    TY COBB 1/1 CUT AUTO!!!
beautiful green ink auto signed tyrus cobb, my dad decided to sell it, and got $3k i believe, he gave me $425 to buy a box of 09 NT, so i was happy:)

Probably a Rick Porcello Gold Refractor /50 sold it for $160 (now sells for like $70-&90) or the Kevin Durant Green Refractor Redemption from 07-08 Finest, traded it at his alltime low value, it now sells in the $120-$140 range
