Signing of the summer?

Chicago fans are desperate. But this is a cheap sign, and if it fails, it isn't costly. Not a bad sign.
Eric I will PM you soon about the lot.

Great signing with little to no risk.
I will admit that the Hawks are starting to look very scary again.

They may not even make the playoffs. No team is a lock in the West. They need better depth.

The Wings have as good a chance to not make the playoffs as the Hawks do. For all we know, SJ won't make it, neither will LA, Vancouver, etc.
Let me know about the lot too please!

Except the Wings have more depth than the Hawks. Plus, they have a goalie who has won Cups (Osgood) and he is the back up.
This isn't even close to the Hawks team who won the Cup. They have no depth. It is easy to stop just two lines.

Not all of us. Good cheap signing yes. Signing of the summer....... Not even close.
Considering his health problems he's had in the past if he plays 60+ games and get 20-25 points I'd be happy.

Name one signing that legitamately will be a better signing as far as "bang for the buck" goes. You can't name an AHL call-up that will get 30 points and be paid $500,000.
And I agree...only the bandwagon fans are desperate...they only know Byufuglien and Niemi. So when they leave, those Bears/Bulls fans that know next to nothing about hockey start to panic. Hockey is the only sport with a flat salary cap, correct? If they were fans, they would understand it. Just because the Bears pay Cutler like $20 million or whatever doesn't mean the Hawks will pay Niemi $20 million.
I agree with your expectations Juan, I think maybe 30 points isn't out of the question.
