    Future HOFers?

Been collecting hof autos/jerseys/bats/pants/patches for current hof players and decided to start collecting guys who will be in sooner or later.

My current list includes Robero Alomar, Craig Biggio, Tom Glaivine, Ken Griffey jr, Trevoe Hoffman, Derek Jeter, Randy Johnson, Chipper Jones, Greg Maddux, Mike Piazza, Albert Pujols, Mariano Rivera, Alex Rodriguez, Ivan Rodriguez, John Smoltz, Ichiro, Frank Thomas, Jim Thome. Everybody ok with those?

Would like your opinion on who else is likely to make it. bagwell? blyleven? vlady? kent? larkin? pedro? manny? rolen?vizquel? others?

    thanks,John

You'll never have anybody agree 100% that somebody is a HOF player but I'd vote for everybody on that list for the HOF.

Already putting Verlander and Miggy in the HOF? Halladay and CC before Verlander and those 2 still need to do a lot. Oswalt is a better pitcher, too. If he sticks with the Phillies it will finally show. I am not nominatinh Oswalt for the HOF right now, just saying look at his stats. He is better than almost anyone in the last 10 years if you take out his record. Miggy is a good player and could get there if he keeps it up.

I really hope Omar makes it. Being a Cleveland fan I have a huge bias so you can't really listen to my opinion though.

Manny is a no doubter. If he doesn't get in first ballot the writers are idiots. Alomar should have been a first ballot no-brainer.

I say no to Larkin, Bagwell, and Rolen. In my opinion Jeff Kent isn't even sniffing the HOF. Bags played in an era where a guy like him needs 500 HR to be considered. Larkin and Rolen, while solid just don't do it for me. Again, I am an AL guy so my opinion may be skewed since I didn't get to see their careers very closely.

I think leaving Bonds and Clemens out of the HOF is a joke. I am positive that there are/will be people in the HOF that used steroids and to keep 2 of the greatest ever out because they got caught isn't proving anything. Put them in and make a note that every member that played from 1985-2010 played in an era where steroids were prevalent and the following players (list players) were found to have used them.

Vlad is borderline. The guy is solid, but the HOF, in my opinion isn't for solid players. It is for players who should never be forgotten and I just don't see Vlad like that.

Pedro should be a no-brainer, too. The guy dominated baseball in the teeth of the steroid era.

mnvikingstwins screen name just reminded me of JOE MAUER. Yes, still too young to tell, but if he plays just 5 more years like the past few you have to put him in

I agree, with the batting average, and defense, won't take much more than continuing his normal years to make the HOF
