    Paypal sucks!

So I got scammed again. My fault for not sending with tracking but that costs too much and buyers wont pay.
Guy buys my card, pays 30.99 total with shipping. I send it out same day payment arrives. A month later they claim they dont get the item and file a claim.
I investigate the buyer to find that he hadn't bid on anything in over a year, then all of a sudden bid on 6 cards in a 4 day span. I contacted all the sellers to find that at the time 3 of them (including me) had claims against them from the buyer. A couple days later 2 more replied that they now had claims on them. Only 1 didn't get back to me.
So I tell PayPal all of this. Do you think it mattered? No they gave the guy the money back.
Another thing that angered me was the buyer is now suspended from ebay because he had different addresses listed on paypal and ebay.
I love how ebay and paypal favour the buyer so much and charge the sellers all the fees! and then everytime a claim is started it affects my seller rating and I could lose powerseller status and discounts. Not to mention already losing the card and the money! Not that I would, but this just makes people scam others to recoup their loss. When will it end! OK RANT OVER.

I agree with you all the way. There needs to be equal coverage. So many people get scammed daily, and buyers get off without even a warning or a slap on the wrist. Its not right. It seems like sometimes paypal and ebay are run by computers, not the people behind them...

Exact same thing happened to me a couple of month ago. I post this thread about it:

That was the last time I sold using ebay/paypal! Brutal!

I'm honestly thinking of filing a class action lawsuit against paypal and ebay for all the fraud and theft they allow!

    PS

I'm bidding on your 2 Sundin cards on ebay right now. Wish you contacted me on here 1st before listing them on ebay.

I read your thread, horrible! I hate ebay and paypal for this reason!

The Sundins arent mine, they are on consignment and the owner said ebay only, sorry! But I will keep it in mind if I get any of my own.

I missed the line about the lawsuit. Great idea but we would have to prove the item got to the buyer, and also prove that paypal and ebay knew what was going on. They could just as easily say we didntt send the items.

Not necessarily. We are both members of ebay with perfect feedback. Look at the member that I sold to! Only 8 feedback. Should have cancelled his/her bid. False address listed as well as different name on the ebay and paypal accounts. I considered contacting the police to go and investigate the address that was on the paypal account. Ebay did know what was going on as they banned the member from ebay or the member just deleted his account after robbing several people. Can't really tell as ebay doesn't have any honesty at all!

They worst part is if u sell a card on ebay and send without tracking number, then usually 9 out of 10 cases paypal will favor the buyer no matter what you say.
