Not really making them anymore rare though. 99 copies is still 99 copies. I don't have the numbers, but I'd be surprised to find out that a fewer number of Halls will make their way through eBay than Tavares did last year.

Depends on the shop owner, I guess.
I was @ my LCS this past weekend... really only needed one touches, but bought a few packs of Black Diamond, Donruss, and OPC. They opened a fresh box of Black Diamond to sell the single packs - I asked if they would sell the Bonus Pack... and they did.... at the same price as the regular packs.

@ 30ranford - well that was nice of them. ice cards are more valuable than black diamond, i mean i guess he could have charged a few more bucks don't you think? did you get anything good in it?

I've heard of some stores selling the Ice packs for upwards of $15-$20. Pretty long odds on making it worth your while.
Eberle will be in SPx.
As to whether they're actually RCs, that's a matter up for debate.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Yeah, I was willing to pay a bit more (I was expecting to hear they wanted $10 or $15 for it). I've spent a fair bit of money there over the last couple of months though, so I'm guessing that might have had something to do with it.
The pack was a bust though. My Rookie was Uxboom :)

of course the are rookie cards, they are still the ice premieres just like any other year, still all the same ice product, base, rc's etc, just packed into other boxes because they didn't make a standalone ice product.
i can't imagine why anyone would think otherwise. when you think crosby ice, then stamkos in 08-09, then duchene/tavares 09-10, you will think hall, eberle, seguin in 10-11 just like you will if ice comes back to standalone in 11-12.
my opinion anyway, but you saying there is a debate is the first time i've heard that.

There's a lot of debate. Honestly, I don't know the answer.... though I would lean towards saying they are not 'true' rookie cards.
Good discussion thread already going on about that here:

I never seen one pulled yet.

HCC - never see one what pulled? hall/seguin you mean?
and no offense ranford cause i know you aren't necessarily saying they aren't, but to think they aren't true rc's just seems absolutely ridiculous to me. is the tavares/duchene ice premieres true rc's from last year, sure. this year is no different, it's still the same ice product. it's not like it's an update. not a victory update that was out 4 months prior and then they work the newer victory rookies into something else. this is the same ice product that they produced with base cards etc, just decided to stick them in another box to get them because of liscense issues.
i can't even imagine why someone is saying they aren't true rc's. they are absolutely no different than any other year.
