Stamps on RTS envelopes

Yeah I used to put return addresses on my SASEs but some players would cross out their address in the return address slot so I decided to just leave the return address blank.

Defrauding the Government?? Kind of a reach there dont you think. Re-useing a stamp that has never seen the lite of day is defrauding the government? I payed for the stamp, Stamp was never used ( still inside my envelope to the athlete on my SASE) & its considered defrauding?

I agree with this. The stamp wasn't used to pay for the delivery of a letter; it was simply inside another envelope. There shouldn't be anything wrong with that. It is only stealing if it was used on the main envelope. Everyone should also remember that just because you can't see the cancellation doesn't mean it wasn't canceled. Reusing what looks like an uncanceled stamp can get your letter returned to you.

Really, you are getting quite a service for a small amount of money. Just pay the 44 cents.

this is all good advice. Maybe i'll start leaving NO return address on the SASE. that was they can just be thrown in on the next batch.

Not sure why i keep my return envelopes. there is no reason for me to keep the envelopes. Kinda just taking up space now that i look at them lol..
