    Shipping question for fellow Canadians

    Hey guys,

what is the best way to ship to the states? I just sent a card with delivery confirmation and it cost like $16. It was shipped in a hard case so that helped make it heavier, but delivery confimation was like $9 from Canada post. I'm a newbie so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That's terrible. Is there no other way? People on the football boards are talking about 17 cents through paypal. How is there such a HUGE difference?

I pay 2 dollars to ship to the US, since mine get sent as oversized letter, saves from having to fill out custom forms as well.

I can print a shipping label to the states for $2.57 on eBay. that with the bubble mailer is about $4.20. I can't print a shipping label to Canada for that price, so I just slap some stamps on it. An over-sized letter can be up to 2 cm. Over that and it considered a Parcel and will cost more. An over-sized letter to US or International is $2.44, and cost $1.22 to Canada. Prices are going up January 17th though, 1.22 will become 1.25 and 2.44 will become I guess 2.50.

You're technically not allowed to send something of value in a letter internationally, but if just throw stamps on it who really cares? If it an expensive card then you can put tracking on it.

A 'Venture One' card can save you 8% on shipping through the website and 5% on in-store purchases.

So just get an oversized letter bubble mailer? Would this include the DC?
