Big M and the little M. Have the Sittler coming for me at the next show.
Should have been a little earlier and could have got a Dryden from this set
Followed by a Rook.

Also won a hourly draw for a 15 buck gift certificate to be used on the day. Took a chance and picked 2 packs of UD series 1 10-11 and and Ice 09-10.
Got base, base and more base. Oh well easy come easy go.

I showed up for the last hour. Was pretty empty at that point.... didn't find anything for the collection. Ah well.
Is the one at Bingemans any good?? I know they do them, but I've never actually gone to one there.

Only been 1 or 2 times. Both times though they had very few card tables. Was mainly toys and collectables.
But you never know. It may only take 1 table to find what you need. Also a cheap way to pass a couple of hours if you don't find anything.

Yeah. Even though I found nothing I needed in Hespeler.... it's $2 to get in, and I like walking around and looking through stuff. Cheap & Fun afternoon, even if my collection doesn't grow any.

The Hespler show tends to fall on days where other shows are happening. Yesterday was also the Hamilton show. Next Cambridge show I think falls when the Woodstock show is happening.
It's a big battle between dates as I don't think Mel goes out of his way to do shows on open days rather then try to steal the thunder out of other shows.
I haven't been to a Cambridge show in like a year cause of the dual date crap that goes on.

IT is tough to crack into the market of running a show. The main reason is there is already a show on 90% of the Sundays, and finding dealers is tough. I did the show circuit as a dealer and the promoters are looking for long term commitments.
The Toronto Card Show has a huge waiting list and they run a very smooth operation. Ian, who runs the Woodstock, Kitchener, London, Brantford and sometimes other small towns does an amazing job as well however his shows are mostly toys and the odd card dealer.
I'm in Kitchener and could help with trying to start one, but it is tough! The City requires permits that are more than 250$ and then getting a spot for it and finding dealers that aren't already booked is the problem. Sunday is the best day, a Saturday show started in Guelph and quickly failed. With this is mind if you still want to try let me know. I can do what I can to help.

Sunday morning... 6-9 years old kids are playing hockey in mornings on week-ends, so big crowds are difficult to get for card show during hockey season. More people during NHL playoffs (end-april/may), hockey season for most kids is over.
