I have been slowly adding my PC to this site to get a feel for it. I like most of what I see here. I am just reluctant to attempt adding the 60,000 cards I already have entered over on Beckett, but if their new launch fails to remedy all the problems, I will be making the switch for sure.

Seriously they need to really go out of business. I pay for my service and at least 50% of the time there is always some issues with their site. I am really considering canceling, Beckett ya'll suck!

Ahh, see- thats something I personally am not a big fan of - having to enter each card into yet another database. I prefer to keep them in my personal DB, and simply post text lists into threads or PM's. I trade in several places - 3 online sites, through people i've met through the years, both locally and on the internet - and its tough to keep all those databases up to date.
Will we be able to look up card pricing without having to enter them in the database? And consequently trade without using the inventory manager? I still think most people prefer the old trade manager system. Just me 2 cents.Looking for NY Giants & HOF/legend/Superstar(any team).

yeah i thought i was on too but then it screwed up again. kept saying my session has timed out and to login. so i would login go to my organize page which worked fine, then went to search some mcnabb rcs. clicked on about 30+ cards to send to my organize then it said i must be logged in to access my organize page, when i could see my login name right on the top of the page. that site is a piece of !*!*@*#*@*@#*#*. Im sick of it.

I understand about the database - trading in different places (especially online) can make it tough to keep track of everything. I've been really low on trading recently, so right now i'm using it to keep track of my PC - more of like a havelist for everyone to see what I already have of my two players. It does offer a download of your inventory into a CSV file, so you can easily take the list with you, which is nice.
Yes, once the OPG is up and running, you'll be able to use it like you would Beckett (except hopefully it will actually work). You can look up the value of any card that's out there, not just what you have in your own collection.
And there are no plans at all to do away with the current trade manager - this is just a separate system, so you'll be able to use that too. But that said, we don't have this linked to any trading right now, so we'll have to see what it can do when it's fully up and running. But you'll definitely be able to use the current system.
Basically you can look at the Inventory Manager, Storefront System, and OPG as an interconnected application or three separate entities.
I could go on and on about this, but hopefully that answered your questions.

Koplin - just had the exact same problem. it worked fine (well, very slow, but thats as good as it gets there) for like 2 price lookups, then it only listed the cards like i wasnt logged in - now its DOA - AGAIN! Wow - just wow.
