    Upper Deck Kobe Auto Replacement

    I was debating whether to redeem my 09-10 Upper Deck Signature Collection Kobe auto and finally gave in. I redeemed it and the response i got was to call upper deck for an exchange because it wasn't produced.

    I called and the guy confirmed the Kobe auto and asked what I would like instead. Before I could say anything he said, "Are you interested in anyone other than the big three...Kobe, Lebron, Jordan?"

    I was like...uhhhhhhhhhh. Nope. Any of those three would be great, especially Jordan. He said, okay, we'll take care of ya.

    I can't wait to see what I get! Any guesses?

    Sweet man, even if it's from a 2010 product, it will still be better than a Kobe auto.

    Thanks guys. I'll definitely post a scan when I get it. I know I will be happy with whatever I get. Cant go wrong with kobe, Lebron, or jordan.

    It was sad when the guy offered me big names from hockey and baseball, but left out football.

    Were you only interested in getting the big 3 from bball or were you open to the other sports? I feel like with replacing kobe, you could have gotten anyone you wanted.

    Yeah, I'm sure I could've gotten anybody but I've always wanted a Jordan auto and I don't have a Lebron auto so yeah. He did offer crosby/ovechkin and even jeter but I was gonna stick it out with basketball regardless. Mainly because I'm looking to keep the card and not sell.

    If I was selling I would have kept my options much more open into other sports.

    Good luck and I wish you well getting your card. Upperdeck is by far the worst customer service organization in the world!! I've been fighting with them for 2 years now. Yes 2 years trying to get a replacement for my 2008-09 UD Black Oscar Robertson/Abdul-Jabbar Gold auto #/5 that was never produced. They continue to give me the run around to this day.
