I definitely see both sides of the russell argument. The voting for the winner is completely subjective and done by a small group of people that played the game pretty far themselves. Plus they are left to judge how they want. To say the winner of the game was the best isn't that cut and dried. It's not like it's something like an immunity challenge where you have a distinct winner. That said, there's something to be said for the winner no matter how it's judged.
On the other side, knowing that the people you play against are the ones you need to get votes from to win, your game is is flawed. No matter how great you play and how many huge moves you make to get to the final three, if you're a jerk to everyone how would you think people would vote for you. Most people when they lose, if the person is sportsman like about it you usually don't have any ill feelings about it, but if the person or team are cocky and arrogant about it there's usually some animosity towards the other team. In the long run, russell didn't have the perfect game no matter how great the other facets were.
I'd still watch him play the game over many others... certainly any of the boring people this season. If they wouldn't have brought Rob and russell back this season it would have been a complete bore. I just wish that they would have both made it to the merge.

thats the best way to put it, Russell's game was flawed in that he never realized that the game he played (even if many would say was the best game) was not strategically right to win the game.

Because he has the ability to win the rest of the immunity challenges, and is Rob's biggest threat immunity wise.

ya, but if he votes off one of his own, that iz the most loyal to him, the rest might go against rob, therefore, hurting rob

Yea the other tribe is all gone, Philip will vote with Rob, and i'm sure he can get two of the girls if not all 3 to vote with him as well..none of the three really seem to have much of a gameplan other than listen to what Rob says.
I get the feeling the winner from redemption Island is coming back tonight though, being its a 4 person challenge..I hope i'm not wrong, because its getting to close to the end to keep redemption island going
