    This comes from www.prowrestling.com

    - Dave Meltzer reports that people in WWE were "shocked" over how angry and emotional people got about Christian losing the World Title to Randy Orton which airs this Friday on Smackdown.

WWE fans really wanted Christian to hold on the belt for longer than he did. Chris Jericho also wrote maybe this is the beginning of an awesome storyline.

No the IWC REALLY wanted him to hold the title forever probably, I'm assuming the casual fan will be thrilled about Orton winning the title..Meltzer was trying to generalize it, but I don't think the casual fan will care at all to be honest.

and the IWC is the minority of Wrestling fans...

EDIT: I say this because how could Meltzer know the majortiy of Wrestling fans wanted him to hold the belt longer? the show hasn't even aired yet..the only people who know were those who checked the spoilers, which is the IWC..casual fans dont check spoilers

I think Chris Jericho is giving the current creative team WAAAAAY to much credit

I don't..He was probably sick and tired of getting tweets of people outraged, and simply said, maybe its leading to something more..The show hasn't even aired yet, some people need to chill..

If Christian goes back to midcarding, i'd be thrilled though..personally.

Decent Smackdown, except for Christian losing the belt so soon....Sheamus and Bryan was a good match and Sin Cara/Tyson Kidd was great

True the match's were alot better than normal, could have done without show and jackson.....but ready to see Sheamus make another main event run......and was happy to see Chavo on my tv lol but he should be able to have some great match's with Sin Cara

Yeah, it was good seeing Chavo back on TV. He doesn't get the respect that he should. Hopefully they make some good plans for him in the future. I think Sin Cara is going to have to change his finisher. He is not going to be able to use that on all superstars.

Yeah thats the downfall of having him, all the people he can work with just do house shows and superstars..........but if he has to quit doing alot of "his" moves its just another guy on the roster....

Orton may be turning heel with his beard haha, what is up with that thing?? Why grow a beard when you can't grow it fully?

I 100% agree with you on this one. I just don't view Christian as a Main Event guy.
