I'd wait till the season is over, that way basketball is out of many o peoples minds, then pick them up at a fraction, and wait till next season, when he's even better.

Put it to you this way can it be straight down from here? The answer is yes. I mean the Spurs were the 1 seed, they won't repeat that. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Bulls sitting at a 5 or 6 seed next year. Its hard for players to follow a season like Rose had with another one. If he doesn't do better next season then this year then YES his cards will eat it.
The cards that will hold their value will be the really high end ones. People will always circle the globe looking for those.

Just wait for the lockout when prices on everyone's stuff will drop. Also, Rose's RC year stuff is staying hot to a respectable level. It's the other year stuff that will start to drop off and become affordable one again. Which is good for my collection!

I bought 35 Bowman 48 autos of Rose 8-10 months ago at $17-$20...last few weeks they were selling for $60-$100 everywhere....craziness. Can't hold that and I see his stuff staying higher than last year, maybe 10-20% due to MVP, but not what we have seen last few weeks

I'm not surprised at all. D Rose looked flat out pathetic when it was win or lose time in the last 2 games. It's funny how ESPN were all over how "great" and "deep" the Bulls were. It didn't take a rocket scientist to see the Bulls as, basically, a 1 man team. No different then the Cavs over the past couple of yrs. D Rose, like Lebron(when he played for Cleveland), is good enough to get his team a lot of regular season wins, and even a couple of playoff wins, but the 1st really good team they played in the playoffs absolutely mopped the floor with them. D Rose is an absolute superstar no doubt, but they need to add another star if they are going to have any chance at a title.
