    bring more than just "haters"??

what else do i have to bring?

Ofcourse people who dislike LeBron wouldnt even consider this question.

clearly going to say jordan. I get that.. You guys just want to see LeBron fail.

LeBron is still playing and IMO will go down as the greatest Overall Basketball player ever.

    Excited for the finals.

Yeppers, we once again agree, this is getting kinda odd here.

People know i've never liked LeBron and always thought he's been overrated, but I have NEVER denyed he has the most talent in the NBA today. However having the most talent doesnt translate to being the best. His game is so flawed for how good he could be. This guy could go into the post and would NEVER be stopped, because he's so strong, instead though he tries to get fancy and tries to be a jump shooter all the time, and thats not the strong point of his game.

However, anyone saying he is close to or better than Jordan, wow, just wow.

Jordan is in a whole other league, granted I didnt watch Jordan in his prime, and i'm assuming those that think LeBron is better also didnt though. I've seen tape on Jordan watching old games, he was just incredible.

And think about this, the guy retired twice, had he stuck with it instead of trying other things (such as Baseball) no doubt in my mind he would've won atleast 1-3 more rings in his career.

LeBron is a great player, i've never denyed it, but he doesnt hold up to Jordan at all.

This is random, but you know why I don't like LeBron? Because he's way to cocky. His ego is the largest ego i've ever seen, especially for a guy who is a loser (when I say that, I mean no rings) I was actually rooting for him in the Cavs in 09/10 to most peoples suprise i'm sure (and you can ask others who were around, I rooted on the Cavs because quite frankly, the city of Cleveland deserves a title) but that Boston series, I ended up having less respect for him than I did before. He gave up, quit and made excuses then left. Jordan never did and never would've done any of those things.

Thank you! Although I disagree with some of what you say, someone is finally answering the question I asked. I asked about flatout TALENT not who will win more championships, mvps, or defensive player of the year awards

Does LeBron have the most TALENT out of anyone in the NBA today? Yes.

Does Lebron have more TALENT than Michael Jordan? No.

......did you read my post wrong? Lol.
I'm saying that you can't compare the two, cause there is no way in god's great green Earth Lebron is better. Even though those teams won 60+ games, he couldn't lead them to a ring. Just sad.

    I was being sarcastic.

I think you miss read his post a little bit. He notes that Lebron has the "most flatout talent in the NBA today" the keyword being TODAY but cannot be compared to Jordan at this point in time (because most sane people still see that Jordan is greater in terms of accomplishments, stats, playoff moments etc). Maybe when Lebron's career's over we'll have a better picture of where he stands in terms of greatness, he could be considered better than Jordan then, but right now he hasn't really done anything yet (except lose a finals).

Also, just talking about "TALENT" is a moot point when looking at a basketball player. NBA basketball takes more than talent; it's as much a mental and emotional game. Think about it this way, if hypothetically there is someone out there with more talent than Lebron or Jordan, but they like just to sit at home or play some pick-up games at the park. No one would even consider that person. Some people can have all the flatout talent in the world, but they can never translate it into being an NBA player which requires being able to be mentally tough, coping with pressure etc; so it doesn't make sense to see who has the most "Flatout talent" in an NBA setting.

And in terms of Rodman and Pippen, it would be unfair to say that they are in the HOF solely because of Jordan. Being on a team with Jordan helped, but they were important part of that team as well. Without Rodman or Pippen, Jordan might not have had as many championships as he does now. I am a Jordan fanboy and all, but basketball is a team game in the end.

    P.S.

You nailed it on the head. As I said though after, talent doesn't always translate into being the best, which is what I feel is the case for LeBron

I Never asked who was the best of all time. I just wanted peoples opinions on who had more talent. And I never said that their talent carried over to who was/is the greatest basketball player of all time because jordan has accomplished everything imaginable to gain that title right now. But it is unfair to completely disregard lebron james from the conversation when he has only been in the league for 8 years and has a lot of his career left.
I was just asking from an athletic standpoint not who has accomplished more feats

Just think if Jordan never tried to play baseball... He could have very easily won 8 'Chips in a row..
