When it comes to the finger incident, the "B" stands for "Boohoo." Boston fans have whined more about that than anything.
The bolded portion shows a lot of class.

Way to go classy Bruins fans

Stop being blinded by your team seriously, this is pathetic.

I watched Glenn Healey show video of 7 different situations where a Bruin player could have been suspended (I say could have because other players in the same situation were actually suspended) just in the playoffs this year, and yet not one of them was.
They wasted no time throwing the book at a guy who hurt a bruin though huh? (Horton is one of the players that should have been suspended btw...karma 101?)

The game does move fast. However, I believe Rome could averted his hit after Horton dished the puck. He did not. He paid for that decision. I agree with the suspension.
As for the tactics, I believe anyone that loses consciousness on the ice, should be taken off on a stretcher. It should be automatic. You don't know what kind of damage could have been done to his head, neck or back. It should be policy.
I like the length of the suspension. Emotions do run high and he is paying for the emotion he tried to create on his team with a dangerous hit.

That's not a bad idea. We'd see a lot more stretchers, though, and it's obvious many, many players are able to get up on their own steam.

yeah and if players try and do that and ignore the effects of the original cause they're going to end up just like Marc Savard and others

Savard didn't get a stretcher?

It was a late hit (NHL standard for lateness is 1/2 second - This hit was nearly a full second after Horton disposed of the puck).
It was a high hit (if Steve Downie can get 20 games for leaving his feet when he hit McAmmond when his skate was still in contact with the ice at the time of the hit, then this should be seen exactly the same way).
And it was targeting the head. So I'd say 4 games is more than appropriate.
The Bruins need to use this as a major turning point in the series. Putting up a snowman last night is a good start. Stepping up the physicality is even better.
Why can't the Sedins stand up? Honest question.

I agree, but I don't think it was intended as a high hit. Horton's head was down and Rome was standing straight up.
The Sedins aren't the strongest skaters around.

The high hit intent was there. The guy left his feet, and you don't lunge up at a guy if you aren't intending to hit him high.
Not the strongest skaters or not, I have never seen anyone flop around like fish out of water as much as they do.
