    remember when teams had logos

the capitals had an eagle not "capitals)
the wild had a forest not "minnesota"
the ducks had the duck not "ducks" say what you like but those jerseys were cool
the st louis blues had a logo

now others that come to mind are the old jerseys of tampa (2011 qand prior) the horse calgary jerseys, and the old black and red buffalo jerseys
the new buffalo jersey (or vintage are great as well)
but i still think the sabres with blacks silver and red were among the best.

so aside from my opinion, he point of this is, why are teams simplifying from logos to letters, i dont want a name on the jeresy, rather id like a logo.
nashville still has the coolest jersey though

we know the name of the team, a logo is the best part of many teams
do you like the idea of having name on the front and no logo.

for me its just uncreative and not really nice to look at (alhough minnesota isnt bad with the colors)

Ahem...Minnesota is the best! We have the Wild animal (some say it looks like a black bear, others a wild cat; I'll go with the latter) for our logo.

hmm i dont know what logo this is
know of the circle one with the mini logo in the middle, that is red, the old ones and the newer green and beige ones with minnesota.
    never seen this one though

id say black bear, as they are more publicly advertised as a minnesota animal.
i dont know what wild cats live their, but i dont thin many
here in manitoba, e shjare basically your landscape, and its basically black bears rule, and then their are lynx, and the odd cougar

    Umm..
The Ducks had a goalie mask, albeit with a Duck bill
The Wils had a "Predator" head with a forest in it
The Capitals had just "Capitals" the eagle was an attempt at updating and was almost as ugly as the Islanders "Fisherman" logo
What is the change in the Blues logo? Is it not still the note with wings?

    Are you 15?

No need to attack just cause you don't agree with my opinion
Liking a logo with a vintage mask and humorous duck bill does not mean I'm 15
The jersey was unique and different, it was just unique
It sure is better than the letters
Ducks as a logo on the jersey

I'm seriously asking if you're 15 because you seem to think the Capitals first logo was the eagle. No attack in there at all.

Wow, it's completely different from the Predator head. Also, the star used for the cat/bear's eye is a tribute to the Minnesota North Stars. Bet'cha didn't know that.
