Rumor, T'Wolves offer Lakers No2 Draft pick for Bynum
http://www.lakersnation.com/rumor-tw...um/2011/06/21/
Just a rumor of course and they have said Bynum is not going to be traded, but I would not mind if he and his repeatedly injured knee and obviously immature temper got traded for the No2 draft pick.
Another rumor is that the T'wolves also offered Kevin Love for Gasol. Not sure I would want that to happen, but also very tempting. If it does happen I will be kicking myself for trading his Rookie GU/Auto

Love/#2 for Gasol would be a great deal for the Lakers. Bynum for #2.....not so much.

I hate the Lakers, but Pau = Perennial All - Star and one of the most skilled big men in the league for a K.Love = Stat Stuffer on a bad team. I would turn it down and keep my chips if I were the Lakers. Wolves have nothing to offer.

Because the Lakers can keep their "chips" when the hard cap hits.
The Lakers would jump at Love & #2 for Gasol before Minnesota could even get the words out.

I would trade Gasol for Love because love is younger and his better years are ahead of him. I think that a better trade for both teams would be Gasol and Bynum to Minny for Love and the #2. What do you think?
Drug and smoke free trading.

Not sure I could trade Gasol for Love the more I think about it. Yeah he had trouble in the post season, but he is still one of the best 7'+ players in the league plus he is a master at the art of passing in the paint...something hard to find in a big player. And most importantly, he and Kobe work well together.
As for Bynum, maybe I am just bitter about his Game 4 tantrum, but I think he should go and the No 2 draft is about as good as we will get for him.

Gasol for Love would be a GODAWFUL trade for the Lakers. Personally, I think Love is overrated, while Pau is proven all-star who has already helped the Lakers win 2 Championships. Pau stays no matter what, not unless he's traded for Dwight Howard.
And Bynum for the #2 is another awful trade scenario for the Lakers.
Now, what I've been hearing is that the Lakers would trade Lamar for the #2 pick and Johnny Flynn, and then possibly package the #2 pick and Andrew Bynum for Dwight Howard (supposedly the Magic want that #2 pick). The odds of this happening though are slim to none.

I would be thrilled if Dwight Howard came to the Lakers!!!! I'd give up Pau for Howard is a heartbeat!!!
Lamar can't go to Minnesota...His brat wife has him by the balls.Last edited by Simi Card; 06-21-2011 at 05:01 PM.
