Show & Tell From The Expo - Plus Tuesday's Mail!

Had a blast at the Spring Expo, as usual!

Had the pleasure to meet up with a few other members: ravens_creed, reoddai, flemingc04, scottkozz, and fisk-factor. Had a great time in ITG Land with them, and chatting in the lounge area afterwards.

After waiting in line for nearly half an hour to get in (first time for everything!) I was able to land several cards for my collection:

For the Oilers PC:
Linus Omark Luxury Suite RC
Chris Vande Velde Certified RC

For the Ranford PC:
Passing The Tourch Auto - Ranford / Dubnyk (Redemption from new Elite)
Show Stamp 1/1 from last year's Expo - International Show Down Gold, with Ranford, Messier, Lindros, and Fleury

Also added a Borje Salming Autograph, got it in a trade with flemingc04 for a Grant Fuhr Pad Redemption I got at the ITG Booth.

Next we've got these:

From last year's Young Guns: Morin, Eckman-Larsson, and the Series 2 checklist. That finished off my set.

Added a couple of Trevor Gillies. Both doubles, but nice cards and can't complain about $5 for the pair.

Love the Hemsky patch from Dominion, and found it in a binder with the Ranford (another double) and the Schmit. $20 for the three was too nice to pass up.

Finally, one I was pretty happy to find. An IP auto of Chuck Raynor. Considering how few cards he ever singed for a manufacturer (fewer than 250 total, along with some cuts). Got it for a steal of a price, IMO, and it will go nicely into my HOF auto collection.

I also did a case of BTP at ITG Land. Had a blast doing it, and will seriously consider doing the same @ next year's show. I've already posted it in the box break section - so I won't do that again - but here's the link for anyone who wants to check it out:

Finally, got this one in the mail today. Worked out a deal with MattDMC last week, and happy to have one in my hand. Didn't luck out with the 800 points I sent in..... but having another SCF member get one, who was quickly willing to work out a deal, was a nice way to land it!
