Well right now i am not able to walk because of dislocating my kneecap but i lost a total of about 18 pounds in the first go round... My wife is 9 months pregnant and we are planning on starting it again as soon as she is able too... Ill be honest though... it is intense. I thought i was in decent shape when i started but the first week or so i was falling behind Tony and the rest of them constantly.... It is all in the motivation to do it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants to get in shape though. Make sure you get the pull up bar and a dip machine though... Also you will need a pretty large area to perform all the workouts... I did however skip[ Yoga as i just was not getting much out of it (probably not doing all of it right) and substituted a 3 mile run on that night. The workout book it comes with is awesome but the dietary recommendations are a little tough to go by if you work full time and cant spend a lot of time on dinner.

As an update for me, I had to take a different work out approach. I got activated by the Air Force and my duty won't end until 13 July. I'm pulled 14 hours days 4-5 days a week, which makes p90x impossible at this time.
The good news is I started working out alot before I bought p90x. I started out at 174 and now weigh in at 159. My goal is 150 by mid-July. The goal is to start p90x within a week of my full-time Air Force duty end date.
I'd say diet is 70% of the key to losing wight!
Some things that I've done as far as diet:
- I eat 1,500 calories a day
- I eat 50-100 grams of protein a day
- Switch from milk to soy milk (higher in protein, high in Omega-3)
- Reduced my red meat intake significantly and overall meat intake
- Switch from white sugar to Stevia and sometimes brown sugar
- No more soda!
- No more white breads
- No more deserts!
As far as exercising, I work out 5-6 days a week.
- I run or do the elliptical (or combination of both) at least 2 miles 5-6 days a week.
- I work out with weights for 30-60 minutes at least 3 times a week. I do at least 4 sets of 10 reps on each exercise. For most exercises, I increase the weight by 10 pounds per exercise per week.
- I use the Kettlebell a few times a week
- I do MMA training twice a week
- I do Yoga once a week
My MMA training and Yoga have suffered a bit since being activated though. I'm hoping to enter a NAGA grappling tournament this winter!

I'm not familiar with the diet book...
But guys should definitely not drink soy milk. You're getting way too much estogren in your diet (yes - soy has a ton of estrogen in it)
