    Bad traders

How many of you have been burnt by a bad trader. I only joined 4 months ago and have almost 50 trades and I have been burnt by 3 guys now, thats not good odds. I tried to send them emails and pM's but they haven't been on here for a couple months. Thats why I think I got screwed.
So I was just wondering if this is common? If so I think i'm done trading on here.
Thanks and sorry for the rant

I've only been screwed once, but seeing as how I haven't been on the forums very long, I guess that's not good. I didn't get screwed out of cards though, I got screwed out of money.

never had a problem here. Are you trading with new members and not making them send first? if so that might be the problem. But i have been trading here for a while now and have never had an issue.

No I was the new guy and I had to send first. Now i'm thinking about only dealing with new guys cause if the card(s) don't show up i'm not out anything. I had one that a guy never got(lost in the mail) but I am sending him another card to make up for it.

Ive been screwed twice so far, but by the same guy (two trades, one envelope) I know he got them, but didnt send his end. Wasnt a big deal, low end MVP RCs and inserts, but still its the principle.

Two for me. Both times the member just wouldn't ship their stuff. Thankfully, I knew that one of them had been getting quite a few negatives as of late and decided to keep my stuff intil I got his, which I never did. The other was a new member who hasn't been on the site in months. Besides from that, everyone has been a pleasure to work with!

Twice(once by a person with over 200 feedback and once by a person with ~50). Both times i had no recourse as i was purchasing and sent money as a gift/payment owed. So now i no longer send using those methods. LAst year i am out 60 US due to bad traders

Edit: There was also a third instance with a trade(over 200 feedback again) where i never got my end after a person was banned for going rogue. I seen the items i traded to them on ebay and threatened to report as stolen goods and got my item within a week

I've done close to 200 trades and have only had 2 problems, but neither were bad traders. once a card was damaged shipping and just recently some inserts I sold showed up and the box was empty lol. not sure what happened, but just returned the PayPal and the other guys cards and there were no hard feelings.

two out of 74, one is solved, one is what I'll never forget :( it was for a Crosby auto, and now I see sometimes my cards showing up on e-bay. it's hard because I'm European. But the 3 out of 50 is a big number. Hope everything will be okay in the future.

For the past year, I must have gotten ten bad trade(crease/bent/what ever) and maybe even more. Many of them damaged cards are manufacture but the trader does not mention it. So in my book, that makes for a bad trader and lots of then are with 100+ feedback.
