I've had several modern cards come in rough shape due to inadequate packaging, or failure to inform of said damage from members with high feedback. For the time being I've kept my mouth shut. Eventually, I will start complaining though.

Everyone has been awesome to us on the site so far! Sucks that some of you guys are getting ripped off people like that do not belong in this hobby.....

Did you leave appropriate feedback? I hope so as many of us look at the feedback and notes.
Well always nice when they shut down a bad trader. Of course a lot of that comes from members wanting to protect others.
I been guilty of not leaving feedback. Drop me a pm reminder and it is done. Call it old agile (senile) whatever but I will be the first to admit I done it before.
Glad to see so many mention they not had trouble. That is very impressive.

i have been burned only a couple times on here as well. and if someone doesnt ever get my end and i didnt send with tracking, i always let the person decide what they want, 1)their card(s) back, 2)more cards 3)refund if they paid, or 4)offer to buy the cards they sent at full bv. usually one of those makes the situation right. i wouldnt be discouraged but would stay away from newer traders unless their ebay link is up and you see they got a lot of feedback there. i bought 1 card off a 0 rated trader here but had over 1200 on ebay so i figured it was safe.
and with damaged cards, if i see there is an obvious defect on it i will mention it, but sometimes i get a card and trade it i dont ever really closely inspect it, so if anyone ever gets a damaged card from me just let me know :) i will take it back. i got one card in the mail by a good member on here i had to do a double take lol it was on a 45 degree angle right down the middle lol. sometimes things happen in the mail that is beyond our control, i wouldnt leave bad feedback as its obvious the card wasnt sent like that, and the packaging was the norm.Last edited by patsfan84; 02-06-2010 at 12:24 AM.

It's not all bad, I would say about 90% of those deals, the trader would refund me or send something for my trouble, so I would leave positive feedback but comment that the card was still damaged. Some were "send first traders" and just said to keep the card(s). I don't give feedback in those case.

Over 100 feedback on here and I've also got over 60 on ebay. Never have I had a problem on this site, and only once on ebay where the buyer claimed to never have received the card and filed a dispute and got their money back. Other then that, never been burned in the hobby
