    Bad traders

How many of you have been burnt by a bad trader. I only joined 4 months ago and have almost 50 trades and I have been burnt by 3 guys now, thats not good odds. I tried to send them emails and pM's but they haven't been on here for a couple months. Thats why I think I got screwed.
So I was just wondering if this is common? If so I think i'm done trading on here.
Thanks and sorry for the rant

First off, did you dispute those trades that went bad? If not, I'd suggest you do that now...

I think everyone gets burnt on a deal from time-to-time...fortunately, I've been fairly lucky...I've had some deals go bad, but I think I've only been out something one time, because the other times, I was trading with a new member with under 20 feedback, so I didn't need to send until after I received...but no, it's not common to be burnt on trades...it seems like you just got bit by the "bad luck" bug recently.

Yes I did dispute them and the team said they can't get ahold of them so they are going to ban them. I'm out about $100 worth of cards now. Might be done trading on here.

I've made mor than 50 trades here and only once, some guy took $7 of my Paypal money and ran.
I'll have to say, SCFers are some of the best online traders/buyers/sellers I've had the pleasure of making deals with.

Maybe I've been lucky, but just that one bad experience

I havent been buned yet (still new though). You have a high enough fb rating to request newbies send 1st. Its not likely anyone with more fb than you would burn you. I'd definatly stick with SCF! It seems that a lot of people here have developed a "small circle" that they trade with. Usualy consists of 4-5 traders they have dealt with multiple times.

Ok, good, glad you disputed the trades. I would give SCF more of a chance...maybe only trade with those with more than a certain number of feedbacks for awhile...there are plenty of good members here...it's only a small number that aren't good and honest.

One guy had almost 900 trades. The other 2 had 30

Question: you said that you and the Moderators couldn't get ahold of these people, right? Could it be possible that something bad has happened to them, or maybe they don't have access to a computer anymore and have way to contact you? Sorry this happened to you, and hope things turn out for you. good luck.

Well, noone is perfect, but over 99% of people on SCF are honest, from my experiences, at least.

Made around 100+ trades on here so far, but have not been burned yet. Maybe I'm lucky!
