Would upper deck exchange this

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has had luck getting a card exchanged from Upper Deck, and whether they would consider this card for exchange.

It is a 09/10 Black Diamond Quad Jersey Alexander Ovechkin 22/25

One of the Sections has glue visible

Any help would be appreciated.

Best bet would be to call their customer service line, explain the situation, and see what happens. To say definitely "yes" or "no" on an exchange is not really within our purview here.

i wouldn't chance it as you might not get an Ovie in return. I know Panini would detray the card and reproduce the exact card with the same serial number on it

couldnt you also try carefully removing the glue if its not to sticky or bad?

Yeah, but then again Panini might get the card confused with their other million products because EVERYTHING they make looks the same

I don't think you will get the exact card. You will be asked. If this particular card is not available, if there is a player/s you collect that they could send as a substitute?

I actually had a good experience with Upper Deck on this earlier, when I sent in a Artifacts Treasured swatch of Ovie /199. They didn't have it, but sent a UD Game Jersey(which I already had, but it became a great trade substitute), as equal value, but to top it off I got a Jagr OPC Materials w/Elias, and Mihalek as a bonus. I appreciated the effort they put in to make it a positive experience for me, but I think they tried harder to please me this way, because I sent back my caseload of YG's-5 back at the same time for replacement.

Also got a pack of 06-07 Fleer for the fun of it. Got a Crosby Total O in that too :)

Well I thought I would provide an update. I talked to UD today, and am shipping the card to them, I was asked if they felt it was not "defective" if i would want the card back or a different. I was told it probably would not be the same card. I asked to be sent a new card, and listed 5 players, a few i collect and other good trade bait players.

Very friendly Customer Service rep, so we shall se where it goes from here.
