David West - he is a good player, but is not all-star material, yet he's made two all-star teams.

Agreed, I saw nothing special out of him during last years playoffs against the Nuggets either.

His stats have been decent but his salary outlandish. He has not played in a long time and we don't know how well he can recover from this significant injury. His team has never been past the first round of the playoffs(except for once with the Raptors) and last year when he was injured. When you are getting paid that kind of money and you are injury-prone, and somewhat selfish, to me that is overrated.

Yeh, but before his injury he was in the top five players in the league and being played accordingly so.

You cant say, "that guy who has been injured for the last two and a half seasons is so over rated" Who knows, imagine he come out for the knicks tonight and played ANYTHING like he did before injury?? Knicks would be loving it, as it is now there is alot of buzz.

As far as my opinion on the most over rated goes, that is an easy one. Andrew Bynum would have to be the "biggest hype, zero delivery player" of the past year or so. He is a 7ft piece of useless-ness. Whoever the clown was that said, "straight swap, Bynum for Bosh" during trade week on NBA.com needs to find a new job.

Although i know im going to get alot of criticism for this but its my opinion on it.....my opinion of a Over rated player is....

    Lebron James

Of course your going to look like you earn it shooting 20+ times a game while the rest of the team shoots under double digit's so of course your going to get points etc i do have to agree his shooting has improved but his hype coming in 03-04 season made him the ROY but if you pull stat's of the top 5 rookie's Lebron was not the best but yet still won because of "Hype" alone which is why i dislike him since.

Below is just 1 example but there are plenty more to back up my comment of his shooting 20+ while the rest of the team shoots under double digit's and dont tell me about theres no other talent blah blah blah...its a team sport not a individual sport which is why they are beat so easily...!!

    D. Gibson G 31:31 Minutes 4-7 shooting 11 pts
    A. Parker G 25:37 Minutes 2-4 shooting 7 pts
    S. O'Neal C 23:14 Minutes 3-5 shooting 7 pts
    L. James F 42:21 Minutes 13-21 shooting 32 pts
    J.J. Hickson F 13:50 Minutes 3-5 shooting 8 pts
