What to break?
I've got about $150. I usually collect prospects, but I'd like to branch out. I'd like older HOF GU/auto or star autos. What are the best products to try? I'm thinking of getting at least one box of 2008 Donruss Threads because I really like that product.
All ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Pat

Not sure how much 09 Ultimate cost, but from what I've seen so far, that's a really good high end brand.

Thanks, avstars. I've thought hard about Ultimate. I could basically do one box of Ultimate and one of Threads with $150ish.
There are definitely some really high-end cards available with Ultimate, but I worry that since you only end up with one card, it's pretty hit or miss.

I am in the same boat as you w/ about $150 to spend. I don't think Ultimate is a bad choice, but you could really be sunk if $150 is all that's in the budget.

Ultimate is the hottest product out there, but if you like 09 triple thread, you are guaranteed two hits, with one being an auto. Good Luck with whatever you end up with?

Thanks...I've thought about that, too. TTT is like $180, though. Maybe I'm too cheap, but I can't stomach spending $150-$200 on 1-2 cards.
I'm thinking about getting 2 boxes of Donruss Threads and 1 box of 07 Sweet Spot Classic, which will get me 11 hits for my money.
What does everyone think about that?

Sounds good. 07 classic is up there as one of my favorite products.
Good Luck!!

im a little nervous about threads, some of those guys are scrubs.. but i have seen some pretty sweet stuff come out of it. but none the less threads typically isnt my thing. i think any sweet spot is pretty ballin. i love that product (just not the darrel rasner that came out of my last tin haha) anyway pat, best of luck wherever the wax journey leads you friend
