Weird eBay Situation
So I bought a card on eBay for about $22, two weeks ago. The guy said he sent out 1 week ago, last saturday. I have yet to receive my card, and I look and it says he is no longer registered on eBay... So how do I know if my card is even coming? He had over 100+ 100% feedback, so I know he wasn't just a scammer, hopefully not.. but I don't know what's going on. I contacted eBay and hopefully they reply with the guys email, or I'm going to go onto paypal to see if I can get his name/email...
Hope it works out.

Well, if you used paypal and he still has a paypal account you should be okay. Now, if he closed his paypal account you may be out $22. If he still has his paypal account file a claim asap.

There was one time where mail took about 7 business day to delivered b/c it was slow or something. But if i hasn't arrived one full week, then the package may be lost. If it is and you use paypal, then you may be protected. And even though the user shut down his/her ebay account, you should still be able to sent him a message and it would go to his email account.

If the sellers account was banned it would say, "no longer registered". This has happened to me in the past. As a previous poster posted - file a petition with paypal ASAP to put a hold on the money. Have you tried e-mailing the guy?

I e-mailed the guy yesterday. The card wasn't in the mail yesterday, so I'm going to check the mail tomorrow, or see if he replies to the email. Whether or not he checks that email or if it's just one he used for the account, I have no clue, but I'm going to check the mail tomorrow and tuesday. If not I will take action via paypal.

I would still start the petition with Paypal. After 30 days, paypal releases the funds to the seller unless you give them positive feedback and the money is released immediately. You can always cancel the hold it if you receive the card. If the seller see his money being held - it might encourage him to respond.

Log into paypal and click on "resolution center" You should see a orange tab that says, "dispute a transaction".

I bought a card a few weeks ago for $5.25 and the same thing happend. I ended up never getting the card which was weird because the seller added an ebay tracking number. I filed a case on ebay and I ended up getting my money back.

well there's some recent/good news on this story. I e-mailed the guy and apparently (i'm not going to go into full detail) but there was a situation where this guys friend was using his eBay account for some sales, and his paypal account got frozen up. This guy who's account it is, he doesn't deal with the cards whatsoever, but oddball stuff. So he's going to tell the guy who sold it to me to find the card and ship it out for me.
It apparently is only taking this long because of the guy who sold it to me using the other guys accounts and then taking the money, so he needs to send out my card.
