Yep..That way you don't have to worry about someone searching the box before you get there.

I don't even waste my time buying packs unless it is from a Hobby Store. So many people are searching packs now it is unreal. I went to Target and was looking for screwdowns and saw a man that had to be in his late 40's early 50's doing it. I am aware it goes on so I just stay away from retail stuff. I also bought the tips and tried it out. Every pack I got had one of those sensor cards in it that sets off the store alarms when you walk out of the store so if anybody needs any sensor cards let me know. I can give you a good deal on them. LOL

For my experince I find that a local convience store is the best place to buy single packs for me. I have this filling that the hobby store people are also collecting GU cards so they are buying mutiple boxes, opening just the GU used packs then putting at the rest of the packs into a box and then puts the box out for single pack purchasing. I have bought a few packs at a convience store that has all their packs behind plastic. You just tell them how many packs you want of a certain brand and they pick them out for you. You never touch the packs until you have paid for them. From this store I have pulled a few GU cards.

    Just my $0.02.

I wish Walmart here in Canada sold sports cards.

I agree with Cera. I am pretty sure this hobby store I used to frequent was doing that. I would buy pack after pack and never get a thing. One time I even bought an entire box minus 2 packs and got zilch. So now I just go with the sealed boxes.

After buying the packs seperately for awhile I decided to open a business so I could buy boxes wholesale at a much better price.....

I too have bought the secrets from eBay and tried while opening up 2 boxes of 2002/03 Pacific Quest for the Cup Hockey managed to pick out 3 of the 6 jersey cards I got.....

Most of the store around here that sell single packs won't let you feel the packs going to try the flea market next.....

Still I find buying a box and ripping the packs open myself the most satisfying way to get cards.....

And a shameless plug for myself if anybody wants boxes email me and I will get you a price, and I am pretty sure it will be a GOOD price.....
