If Perry thought it was a cheap shot he would have gone after Seabrook himself.

Crawford played because Huet has the "flu".

perry doesnt really ever fight and at the ducks end of the year party he made it sound like he doesnt like to fight either (but that might be cause of all the little kids there) but with our top 2 forwards perry wouldnt risk getting hurt so wisnewski did.

Watching the replays now, I think that Sopel totally dove on that last play. He hadn't yet left his feet when he was pushed, and flopped like a fish outta water.

Been playing hockey for 12 of my 20 years I understand that principle. However, Sopel had not yet left his feet. He was pushed before he jumped and still somehow managed to end up 4 feet in the air. If you're pushed like that without a dive, you just fall forward. You don't explode off the ice.

he was pushed AS he was about to jump which is why he flew

ABOUT to jump. Exactly. He had not left his feet yet. He somehow managed to accelerate upwards after getting pushed forwards. How does that happen? Dive.

Perry (3) has been in more fights then Seabrook (2) this year. Pery has been around long enough to stick up for himself.

In case you didn't notice Selanne played tonight, so he can't be that hurt. I am not saying that Perry would have fought Seabrook, but if he thought that the hit from Seabrook was cheap or to the head he would have gotten in Seabrooks face after the hit.
