He was in a upward motion going up when he got hit.
Either way, call Sopel for Diving and Perry for crosschecking/interference. No goal, 4 on 4.

Hahaha
This thread made me laugh - Thanks everyone....
The Refs...Haha - Cant blame them for a team that is not playing well and say the game would have been completely different on one play (even IF it was intereference)......BESIDES I didnt hear anyone complain about "non-calls" when the Hawks barely beat the Kings in OT when the refs missed MANY calls in that game (on both teams) - I agree the refs have been very inconsistant on calls this whole season but they have been consistant on being inconsistant.....
As for Perry, He is a good player but lets call it like it is...He is a wimp....The guy falls on the ice all the time...Watch ANY Ducks game...He falls (either by push, shove or any contact) at least 2-3 times a game and thats without getting an actual "hit"....reminds me of when Darryl Sydor was on the Kings way back....Main reason why Kings fans call him "Sqeegie" as he seems to wipe the ice better than the Ice girls (for those teams that have them) - A lot of the penalties he "draws" are dives.....and to say he wont fight because of injuries to his teammates is a load of crock....
I dont care who the player is (and yes even a King) - If they have illegal hits to the head and boarding calls that justify a suspension.....then they should get suspended...plain and simple....
On the same note, they should start suspending the refs if they miss major calls like that....taking out of their pocketbook will force them to make the right call...
