Bill Thoms tied Charlie Conacher for the NHL goal-scoring lead in 1935-36 and was top ten in scoring three times.

    Now THAT is vintage!

I've been wanting to get into 30's/40's stuff; this card may put me over the edge.

I've only got a handful from that era. I'd like to get my hands on some really nice '33-34 Cdn Chewing Gum, but they're pricey.

    Here's King:

OK - so long as we're liking the oldies - Ken Doraty ended the second-longest playoff games in NHL history. At 4:43 of the sixth overtime period on Apr. 3, 1933, he beat Tiny Thompson of Boston to win 1-0. On Jan 16, 1934, he became the only person in history to score a hat trick in OT as the Leafs beat Ottawa 7-4. Obviously, regular season OT was not sudden death.

Love the Bee Hives and the WHA stuff above! Nice!

I only have a handful of Bee Hives and Quaker Oats photos. I'm going to try for some more. It's the only good way to get pics of the players of the 40s.
