Hoping Stamkos's Take a Big Jump
Now that he has 50 his card should really jump. His cards have been holding since last year. How much does he have to prove. 50 goals and at just 20.

They've been on the increase throughout the year as he's shown this year what he's truly capable of doing on the ice. I think it's a bit of a travesty that he wasn't named to Team Canada, but hey, things worked out well for everybody in the end.
You know that the Caps are going to be doing everything they can to feed Ovy one more goal today, but it'd be a great accomplishment for Stamkos if he were able to hold on to a share of the Richard Trophy.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

If you collect him wouldn't you want prices to remain low so you don't get priced out of the market?
Heckuva player!

He's been increasing most the season - and my guess is, he's hit his peak. Great player, but he plays for Tampa Bay.... where nobody has ever gotten the hobby love many people thing they should. Winning an Art Ross / Hart / Pearson / Stanley Cup didn't exactly boost the value of St. Louis GU & Autos.

Actually I think his prices have gained quite a bit. I was tracking his SPAs since last off season. I think these are accurate:
June: 57
July: 55
Aug: 72
Sept: 71
Oct: 60
Nov: 89
Feb:93
Now: 123

I agree. It's not like Toronto or Montreal where there's a big market for the cards of those teams because there are a lot of fans who collect cards. I think his cards are selling so well right now because so many people are buying them to try and resell them later, and I think a lot of those people are going to be disappointed.

Stamkos is a good kid, but I am not sure of his popularity. Look Mike Bossy's hobby popularity...

Nobody ever? Really? Ok. My LCS sells out of hockey first when new boxes come out.

He has a long way to go imo to prove his worth. Yes i collect him as well as other players (glad i got most of his Cup cards early). I am not knocking him or his accomplishments so far but one good season is only a start.
I just checked his stats 51 sweet :)
Take away his 24 power play goals and he looks human.
The one thing he has going for him is he is from Canada and that is a big plus hobby love wise.
Tampa not being exactly a hockey hot bed is a minus.
The buy and flip has started already here is a good example.
