caps sweep. They will light up Price and Halak. End of story
devils in 5. Flyers goalies suck. You're not going to win with Boucher. If Leighton can be back in for this series, the Flyers have a way better chance
Sabres in 6 for what you said.
Sens in 7. No more cups for crosby until he can grow a REAL playoff beard.

see, I agree with you on the fact the Flyer goalies stink, but they are still better offensively that Jersey, even with Kovalchuk, which is big reason I think the Flyers will win this series.

First off, the problem with that logic is that you forget that they are missing 3 of their starting D-Men plus Marc Savard, easily their best forward by FAR.
Buffalo takes it in 6.
Washington beats Montreal in 6. Will be a tough series IMO, Montreal has played pretty well down the stretch with Halak between the pipes.
I'll take the Devils in 5. I like Philly's playoff experience and scoring ability but Boucher is simply not good enough for them to go far.
Like you said Scott, Pittsburgh takes this one but I'll give it game 7. I agree that not having Kovalev is probably the difference-maker but I'll say that because of his veteran experience. I think this will be even closer than people already think it will be. Ottowa may not have a lot of depth past the big 3 but DANG is that first line good.

Habs in 7 (going with the huge upset here)
Devils in 4 (flyers have sucked lately with no goaltending whatsoever)
sabres in 6 (I dont think boston can manage to win this series with so many injured players)
penguins in 6 (the sens will put up a good fight but come playoffs time, the penguins play very well)

Craps in 5 (I hate saying that)
Devils in 4 (Currently, is there a hotter goalie than Marty?)
Sabres in 5 (No D in Beantown)
Pens in 5 (No Kovie, No offense)

Okay my predictions are:
Washington in 5 over Montreal
New Jersey in 5 over Philly
Buffalo in 6 over Boston
Pittsburgh in 6 over Ottawa
I just can't pick an upset but there is almost always an upset. I really just don't know what it will be.
If all the favourites win then wow it will be Washington vs Pittsburgh in the 2nd round. That would be great though it would be a better 3rd round series. Maybe Boston or Philly should win so Washington can play them in the 2nd round.Last edited by MatsSundin13Rocks; 04-12-2010 at 02:56 AM.

Washington Sweep...no way Price and halak stop Ovie...or anyone else for that matter.
Devils in 6...gonna be tough but Marty is on fire. Philly is chippy but they haven't been scoring much, something that few teams can overcome...unless you have Marty Brodeur in net.
Buffalo in 5...Miller is just too good and Vanek is heating up, to say the very least.
Senators in 7...Malkin hasn't been himself this season and Fleury hasn't been fantastic lately. Should be the most even series IMO.
