Well it's kind of like a Matthew Barnaby thing, trying to draw a penalty like that. But, not sure if you were watching the game. But at that point, the devils had 3 power plays and the flyers had 0. So it wouldn't hurt to try and get a PP, you know?

And the penalty he took later, i think is the dumbest rule. You break their stick, slashing penalty. Really? Do they not notice that a stick breaks for no reason a lot of the times?

Okay well Barnaby is my least favourite player ever because of his dirty hits especially the one on Sundin and other antics like diving/faking to draw penalties.

Well of course you break the opposing players stick by hacking with your stuck is a slashing penalty. If it wasn't I would just intentionally whack everyone's sticks to break them so the opposing team is disadvantaged. The refs consistently call that. I saw the same thing in the Canucks vs Kings game.

Let me start out by stating that I'm a huge Devils fan. I have to give Carcillo a ton of credit. He is out playing David Clarkson, who is more talented and equally a tough guy. The only time you notice Clarkson is when hes in the penalty box. The Flyers were the one team I didn't not want to face in the opening round. I think the Devils need a huge dominant win tonight or they are done.

I'm glad a Devils fan is here. I wanna know your take on something. Kovalchuck, fan or not?? It seems to me he is pressing way too much and the Devils seemed way better without him. Seems like a "me me" player.
