I know, I know another thread about UD...just 1 complaint

So, 2 products in a row where UD uses their /99 RC's for the best rookies in this years class...

And your Calder Trophy Nominee Tyler Myers is /99...

    Oh wait, no he's not.

    He's /699 in SPGU

Ok so he is /99 in Ice, according to UD's website he's listed as 499

    Seriously?

Maybe he won't be /99 in the Cup either, that'll help us Sabres fans.

I think in all honestly when they decide they're making the product they pick the players they think will have the best season or get the most hobby love and make them the /99 rookies. Through out the season they don't seem to adjust according to how the season is going and continue to make some players /99 rookies when they shouldn't be. But I don't know, i'm not UD lol

All this tells me is that the checklists were planned back in August. The level 1 & 2 rookies in Ice need to be figured out as the season goes on..... but 3 and 4 they picked them a long time ago. See Steve Mason last year.

But you are on with the Trilogy...I was shocked when I saw that...All the Myers in Ice is rough...broke 2 boxes, no Myers, and finding trades for him is tough...everyone wants to sell!

Look at last years products. Not once was Steve Mason in the most limited group of rookies despite being the ROY.

He isnt going to be a /99 in the cup either. I spoke to the head of design (who is no longer there) and he told me that there were only going to be 3 /99 rcs this year and that Duchene and Tavares were 2 of them. They hadnt decided on the third but he said it wasnt going to be a dman. Whether he was lying to me or not i have no idea but this is what he told me.

Only 3 in The Cup? Interesting.
