    Sorry..misread this a bit. ANyway..IF you have a specific years stats..that's the BEST way to figure it out. If you have the stats for a season on the card..say 02-03..then the card should be a 03-04.

    There's no real definite way to tell, unless the previous year's stats are on the back of the card - but, once you know the looks of cards, you'll be able to tell the year eventually by just the look...maybe I've just been in the hobby for too long...lol

    I can do that with football and baseball easily, but I am not interested in hockey or Basketball so they kinda give me trouble at times. And my software only uses the last stat date. So a card that has 02-03 stats is an 03 period no extras. Thanks eveyone it has been very helpful I have almost got them done and look for me too post in hockey and basketball. I will be sure if you see something you like to give you a good deal for hooking me up here.
