last year i spentaround 2800k i believe just busting boxes...

..wow over 1k a month, what do ou do for a living??

Just have a normal job, but I do live in Fort McMurray where salaries are all pretty outrageously high - I think the average back in 2005 was around $90,000 and they've gone up since then.

I don't have any expensive hobbies or habits, so it's pretty easy to spend a lot on cards. My problem is that I hardly ever sell anything, so I've either got to slow the spending or sell off some stuff.

It depends really. I only spend money when things show up that I need. Some months this year I've spent $50, and some months I've spent over $1200. It really depends. I don't have a ton to chase after right now until John Moore rookies start to come out. I'm slowly doing the Champs Mini Auto set and busting Champs boxes, but it's not a main priority to me right now so probably $200 a month on that.

ummmm...too much, its depressing to actually think about it hahah.

usually $200+ a month(ugh) but obviously those months were can easily turn to 2-3X that. i have been spending less though since i went to pretty much only collecting o'sullivan with simmonds/quick on the side.

Months are random for me, but since this time last year, and a few people know that I'm opening up everything this season, plus I have bought a lot of singles(very cheaply I might add from one of my LCS'|).....At least 10K!!!!! And I'm not even batting an eye at that.

It goes up and down for me, very random. I've had months where I've spent $500-$600 and I've also had months where I've spent maybe $20. It really all depends on the amount of disposable income I have coupled with whatever product happens to come out that month(those $500-$600 months were Artifacts, SPx, and H&P, I'm sure SPA will turn June into another $500 month)

So far through 2010, my credit card tells me I've spent $7,000 US on the hobby. It is probably closer to $11,000, but I've sold about $4,000 worth

I do all my purchases at an LCS, so I probably could save myself $2,000 by using online retailers.

By saying "credit card", maybe it is not your case, but I just want to say a word about how many times that I saw a buyer changing his mind to buy an expensive card ($500+) when a money order is required (so to have the money on hand) instead to pay by Paypal with credit card! I think a lot of people in the hobby runs on credit cards without having cash on hand to unload their credit card.
