Crazy Video between Teacher & Student...

This happened this week at my school, gotta love media bias, the 'unidentified' girl is probably the most hated person at the school now, crazy stuff

lol wow...Its never OK for a teacher to act like that no matter how the student gets. Unless its a matter of life or death or something but this was clearly not.

I didnt even hear about it till today, apparantly the girl is a brat and the teacher is super nice (i never had him), i'd be shocked if he wasnt fired though

I have no problem with how the teacher acted. Even if it means yelling and getting angry like this in order to control a classroom. Lets face it, all kids, especially ones in middle and high school should have a gut check instead of walking around with an attitude that they are superior

I hope you're joking. You think the teacher has the right to throw a desk on the ground in the middle of class and cuss at a student. I'm sure if that happend to your kid you would change your mind real quick.

Disagree - this isn't the military or the police force or something. School teachers should have enough tact to know how to control a classroom without losing his/her temper like the guy in the video.

It has nothing to do with a "gut check." It has to do with how this guy was trained or conditioned (or not) to handle a student disruption. And if teachers aren't trained on how to handle a class before certification, they should be.

now I am not ok with the teacher cussing at a student and flipping over a desk. However, I have a big problem with anything that a kid has taken a video of on their cell phone. Every time these things come out, which is about 1-2 times a year, you never see what led up to it. They only video the teachers reaction which often leads me to believe the kids could have very well set this up.
It is too easy for a kid to egg a teacher on for however long and then someone gets the teachers response on video.

It doesen't matter what led up to that for a teacher to act like that. They are in a position of authority over kids, and thats unacceptable to act like that.

that is why i opened by saying i was not ok with him cussing and flipping a desk. However, I stand by my point. there have been previous instances where basically the teacher claimed the kids started cussing at him, and when he replied, they were ready with the camera. Therefore, while I gladly say, no excuse for cussing and flipping out, i am suspicious anytime the video only shows the teachers response.

i really agree with everything your saying, all my buddies have told me the girl has just tortured him the entire year and with 2 weeks left he lost it, the video on ABC.com was taken down early this morning after airing it yesterday, i feel it was incredibly one sided, and apparantly in the interview with the girl, she was making stuff up to get the teacher in trouble
