I'm not a Habs fan, but I voted Gorges. Brian Gionta would also be a very good choice as far as I'm concerned. Each of them should wear a letter of some kind.

I gave Cammalleri my vote. Fantasic Player, I get the 'leader' vibe from him..... really seems to love playing in Montreal.
I just hope they don't continue with the whishy-washy "no captain" thing, or rotating it. That works for me if your Captain was traded mid-season, or injured. That's it. I suppose they were in such a state of flux last summer that it would have been hard to do.... but I still don't like it. Martin knew who the leaders on this team were in November, should have been done then.

i voted for Gill. it just seemed like he took charge, in the media and on the ice. i also like Cammaleri, he seems to understand the history and importance of playing hockey in Montreal. i really liked his quote that every player should experience the playoffs in a habs jersey.
