Looks like you hit the odds. The checklist was out. So you knew the chance of this would happen, and it did. You can't complain to Topps for your bad luck. They did nothing wrong. You took the risk, you lost, it happens. If you expect a BIG hit in every break, maybe you shouldn't be breaking boxes.

I couldn't agree more on buying boxes being a gamble. You are basically betting your money that you will get a good pull from a box. As is the case with gambling, you don't always win. Buying high-end product does not guarantee great pulls, it just makes the great pulls worth that much more. I have had better luck with an $20 '09 Heritage blaster (pulled a $200 Beckham auto) than I did with a $120 box of '10 Finest (got a $25 redemption card). You just never know. That would definately be a disappointing Father's Day break, but not a horror story.
Integrity can accommodate the inadvertent error and the honest difference of opinion; it cannot accommodate deceit or subordination of principle.

Which is exactly what they advertise. I have purchased enough TTT to know the breaks. I've pulled many scrubs, but if Topps doesnt balance out that first pack with a hit in the second they have no quality control.
My bucket is full of scrubs I've pulled in TTT that were balanced out by a hit in the other pack.
By the way, that is one sweet card. Congrats on the pull.

thanks, but i can tell you from watching guys drop thousands of $$ busting cases that a box like i got is few and far between. It happens, i feel your disapointment, but if they put amazing pulls in every pack they wouldnt be amazing.

agree 100% with everyone above. I can at least somewhat understand when people complain about getting shorted hits in a box. Nowhere on the box does it say you're 'GUARANTEED' a certain x number of hits, but when you shell out money and you don't even get the number of hits you 'should' have gotten, I can understand that pain.
On the other hand, getting the number of hits as advertised and still complaining because you didn't get a high-value card... well that's borderline retarded. Do you want a Jeter AU or Pujols 1/1 in every box? Ok, great, but I'll guarantee you the price of a box will be a hell of a lot more than $200 to compensate for that.
When you go to Las Vegas, do you complain to the casino manager that you stuck $20 in a slot machine and you didn't win anything? That you didn't get 'your money's worth'? That's pretty much exactly what you are doing here, OP. Sometimes you stick $20 in a slot and win $200. Sometimes you stick $20 in and get nothing. That's what gambling is.

Sorry to hear about that, but buying high end products just doesn't mean you're getting HOF or Superstars stuff back in return. But good luck in the future.

tough break man, but I gotta agree with the people here. The checklist is out their for all of us to see, and while I agree its gotta be disheartening to pull an Albaladejo auto in such a high end box, keep in mind its a good idea sometimes to put some no name RC's in high-end products. Of course in this case the guy didnt turn out, but when a RC/Prospect turns out its nice for him to have some high-end RCs. If Albaladejo turned out, youd be holding one of his best RC's on the market. Lots of times the boxes even out, when they put a question mark like Albaladejo as the auto in the box, but sometimes they dont. But id be willing to throw some money down that if you were to go out and pick up[ another box that it wouldnt be nearly as bad as this one.
