Interesting note:
This post prompted me to research sellers that are selling the guaranteed hot packs. I found it interesting that almost ALL of the sellers have made their feedback profile private so sellers cannot go back and see what they have bought (i.e. the troy fleming auto they just pulled). This seems like a pretty efficient method of buying these lower-end autos and inserting them into packs without any buyer having the chance to expose the seller's shenanigans. Either that, or it is an amazing coincidence that these sellers all have private feedback accounts. Something to ponder anyways.

Boxes are usually sealed with a factory wrap that scammers cant duplicate.
As for reputable dealers nobody beats www.dacardworld.com I see alot of people say they get better prices than Dave and Adams but nobody ever offers links to validate these claims.

My theory is that if it sounds too good to be true...it probably is!

Bruce Harris Sportscards has very competitive pricing and top notch service.
As for the guaranteed hot packs, I believe almost all of them are RETAIL packs which on most newer products are fairly see through. These sellers either go to Target/Walmart/TRU etc themselves or have people that go and search through all the packs for the game used or autos.
