Coqxxx4 - I looked around the web some more on this card, and it looks like there may be more than 5 of each of these types of cards out there. Though I saw someone quoting a recent issue of Beckett that had Donruss saying they don't know the # of each of these issued. So I have to assume < 50 at worst case. Could be 5, 15, 40, who knows. So I'd be looking for something (gu, auto, insert) with a limited release under 50 and BV around 40ish as you and I were saying.
I don't think a gu (or any other card) with more than 50 printings would be a fair swap. Even if BV is saying 40-50.
Just wanted to offer some better info on that for when you're looking at the show this weekend. I will also update my site's want list sometime today. And most of all, thanks for working with me on this trade.

Coqxxx4 - the other card went for over $50 on eBay tonight, which is more in line with what I expected. That first one that went in the $20s was about 3 weeks ago before I believe the word got out more. So please think about that patch again since I believe this makes things much closer. Thanks again!!

I bought the other Griffey as I am doing the set but could use your Griffey as trade bait if nothing else.
I do not have any Red Sox Gu cards, but I do have some other Gu stuff that might interest you in the $60 range or more.

Jim - I had told Coqxxx4 I'd wait until he gets back from a card show this weekend to see what he can come up with. Right now he and I are a bit apart on the value, though I would think the recent run on these cards for top tier players on eBay will change his thoughts. He and I are suppose to touch base at the end of the weekend.
I've searched even more online (Beckett sellers, other card forums, etc.) and as far as I can tell I'm holding the third one that's hit the Web, and it's the only one currently up for trade etc.
I had also mentioned to Rick I'd entertain a trade with him if the one with Coqxxx4 falls through. So I will definitely keep you next in line. I will stay active in trying to move this, so you'll here back soon from me. Or just check this post. Thanks!!

No problem. I am on the run for an A-Rod on another site that I need and another possible Griffey.
LMK ASAP as I want to get this set done ASAP. Also if in your travels online you see any of the other ones available other than eBay, PLMK ASAP
