A Question That I Need Help With
Would a card get more sale value if it is graded BGS 8.5 or if it is not graded at all?
Thanks

Depends on the age of the card. If it's 2005 or newer, an 8.5 would probably actually hurt the sale. If it's pre-1990s, I would say that it would help greatly.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Agree with RGM for the most part, but would go a bit further and suggest an 8.5 would only help if the card was pre 1986-87. After that, don't think it would be of any help at all.

they are very correct..i have 5 cards returning to me by the 8th of this month from beckett..2 of which belong to me..2001 spx albert pujols..and a 1999 retro auto walter payton...i am hoping for at least 9.5's on both..which to me i think i would get..but after looking at some other examples of graded cards that i sent in..a 9.5 seems highly doubtful..i was told anything less than that the value do's not really increase at all..it almost hurts the card..so i have to hope the auto's on those two cards come back a 10...

Biggest question is what is the card?
I myself do not like graded cards at all. The only way that I like them are if they are cards of superstar players and they are 9.5's or 10's.
