Yeah .312 isn't that good when he was hitting like .360+ for some time

.340s he was near, give him a break, he's in a slump, still is protecting Miggy considering he is hitting on fire right nowHidden Content

Isn't that the goal of the sport? Win games?
Who cares about the awards if you're team isn't winning. In September, the Sox/Twins wont be pitching to Miggy. He won't win the Triple Crown

Of course it is..if he wins the triple crown i'd venture to say the Tigers win the central..In september the ideal situation is Damon/AJax continue to hit and Miggy continues to drive them in, and Boesch continues to hit (ideally) realistically, Boesch around .290-.310 would be great and Jackson/Damon to be around or over .300 for Miggy to drive them in

Probably wont happen now that his protection in the lineup is out for a couple months. Magglio is a BIG STICK, he will still post great numbers and MVP most likely especially if they make the playoffs. But with Magglio out the triple crown is a huge long shot my opinion.

I'm pulling for Miggy, but I don't think he'll do it. Heck, I don't think I'll live to see someone win the triple crown in my lifetime. Think of how GREAT Albert Pujols has been the past 9 years combining Power and Average and he still falls short every year somehow.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if he ends up winning the batting title and RBI title, but falls short to JOSE BAUTISTA for the HR title.

How about Joey Votto for triple crown? Has a ways to go but still plenty of time to go. Glad I got him in my fantasy league...
