    Pack Searcher

Ran in to Target to get some Benadryl and walked by the cards and saw a man that was around 40 pack searching.

I hate pack searching, I can't stand it.

If you are that desperate for a common JSY, buy one on eBay for $3 and let a little kid pull the jersey, correctly too.

Im with you on this. I dont know why anyone is going to pack search when it is only making it unfair for other collectors.

Just to teach him a lesson you should have waited until he was done and had the good packs... grabbed them out of his hands and made a run for the cashier!

I haven't come across pack searchers here, but I have walked into the aisle at Walmart a couple of times and it looked like a bomb went off. I don't know how people get away with it, but packs and blaster boxes will be torn wide open with cards and wrappers all over the place along the shelves and floor. Even 2 or 3 years ago when Walmart carried packs of Trilogy I was floored when I saw Trilogy base cards along the shelves. The person(s) responsible for it sure wasn't afraid of being seen with the way things are spread out and in the open.

People should not even be allowed to look at the boxes, let alone pack search. A hobby shop should number the packs right off the bat and let people pick an available number.

The Jewel by me used to have cards. They had them in a glass case that was locked. If you wanted a pack, you had to ask a cashier to open it and close it. That is how it should be done.

Its not worth getting a display case in a drug store, but definitely in a hobby store.

That is Sad! A 40 year old dude pack searching?????? W-O-W!
    :(

If I saw that, I would probably tell the guy...what the heck are you doing?????
Hardly anyone interested in hockey cards in the city that I live in, but I'll probably see the occasional pack searcher :(

No one really cares a whole lot about hockey by me either, mostly all people who jump on the bandwagon and support them when they win...then it's back to the fantastic Bulls and Bears.

I didn't see what he was going through, pretty sure it was baseball, but not positive. I wanted to say something, but didn't have the time and thought that he should figure it out himself.

I believe that was more in the lines for theft prevention.
