Cup pushed back a week, as expected!

I wonder if the new NHL season will start before the Cup comes out.

I know that people will treat the rookies as true rookie cards but I for one do not see them as rookie cards anymore. The season has been long finished and I am looking forward to the next year.

That is exactly what UD said at the Nationals. They wanted the redemption's reduced and they are well aware that Panini is going to make a splash. They also admitted to learning a few lessons and eating a little crow... then they handed Brandon the Crosby 1/1 printing plate. Nice job UD. I hope they are turning a page because I really do like UD product generally. The reps where very cool... I will be buying some The Cup when it is finally released... I have some scans of the 1/1 and the Panini sample cards given out at the NAtionals in Our Baltimore Thread (link below in my sig)

ya im actually cool with it, seeing as I need to work a few more extra days to be able to get a box or 2. that way i can break them with everyone else the same release week anyways...LOL

I'm not sure where you heard this. But someone asked about the rumour on the UD Facebook page and Upper Deck said it's not true.

I copied and pasted the following from the Upper Deck Facebook page:

Customer #1 - "Heard a nasty rumor that The Cup is delayed till October....is that right? That would be after the puck drops on the 10-11 season. Say it ain't so. Need my Cup fix."
Customer #2 "I saw on line that it is now Wednesday September 22nd! It's getting ridiculous now!"
Upper Deck - "Not true. The dates on our info tab are still up to date." - About an hour ago (6:10pm EST. Wednesday, August 18, 2010)
