I think until we hear from Rocco, we might as well go with what's been announced.

Having traded with hobbyfan, dawson16 and hippieman556 within the last few months, I haven't been able to replenish my supply of trade bait from those teams. I haven't been buying a lot of new cards because 1. I don't have enough disposable income, 2. There just isn't a whole lot of new product being released, and 3. Not being that interested in the new product that is released.

I propose we go back to 2 trader groups so it gives everybody a little more time to get some inventory built back up. IF we do this, we should mix up the groups to keep it fresh.

I'm always willing to trade for any Cal Ripken Jr., Nick Markakis, Nolan Reimold, Koji Uehara and other Orioles cards I don't have.

It sounds to me like k9rocco is a little overwhelmed currently. I think we should try to be a little flexible for a month or so.

This is what I would propose. Before you actually post any trades, I would PM who you are matched up with. If it happens that one is not able to trade this month for any reason, I say, we bypass the month. Then maybe we can try and talk to k9rocco and see how he is doing. Maybe we take a month and try and get things rolling again in a little while. Take a month to restock, and try and realing the groups, and maybe get things back on track. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I am a little confused by the 'two groups' idea. How did that work before? I will ping k9rocco and see what is going on.

I am thinking about dropping out of this, it seems like I am trading with the same people and really do not have much left of a few teams...

The only One in the group I am trading with this month I think I have not traded with is Christianscards...

I also have not traded with JustinHixson, Mr715, Mnvikingstwins, Crosby87, Marcjack...

I have not purchased any newer baseball stuff in a good while as I really do not have the income at this time, and alot of the teams the members I have been matched with the past couple months collect all I have is older stuff...

    Ed
I only trade by Beckett price guide, not eBay comp or SV, TV..I also do not collect any Panini or Donruss Baseball products..

schwood - sorry for the confusion. What I meant was that we should have 2 people in each trade group instead of 3 like we have now. That way we end up with more groups and we end up trading with each other a little less giving everybody more time to restock their trade bait.

As a group I think we should try to recruit some new traders to take on the empty teams. For example if you see somebody looking for only Oakland A's cards in the trading forums, send them a message asking them to check it out. The more people we recruit, the better off it will be for everybody.

Gotcha on that note for sure!

I love that idea Ryan. Great idea! Less to do, and longer to get stuff restocked.

So, I sent k9rocco a PM and also hobbyfan to see if they have any thoughts on a reorg of the group maybe. I want to do some brainstorming, and try and keep the ball rolling on this. I love the idea of team trading, and would love to continue to do more of it!

Anyway, would anyone be able to attend a chat night to discuss the group at some point? No day, time, or date established, but we thought that might be a good way to get some together to chat about things. Thoughts?

Sorry guys was out of town for awhile. didn't check the trade matchups as like I usually do, I have a list of the past trades on my other computer. I like Schwoods idea of reorganizing. Would everyone agree to a work out your own trade month amongst the group while we reorganize the trade groups and get the ball rolling again or does someone have another suggestion? This would allow those that wanted to take a break to do so for a month without having to leave the group.

And on top of this, I would also like to get a feel from everyone as to how they feel about possibly creating more groups in this. This would allow us to keep up the 2 trades per month (except when trading in your own group, that would be a 1 trade per month) and also to allow us time in between trading with the same people to restock those teams? Thoughts on this?

I propose we use this as a reorg month. Let's use the 'trade if you can' idea where you talk to who you are matched up with, and see if you can work something out. And then I will work on the latest matchups and try and split people up accordingly and into two trader groups. How does this all sound? And then as we move forward, hobbyfan is going to run things.

Honestly, this has been a very cool group so far, and would love to see the ball continue to roll here.

Please feel free to post her any other thoughts or ideas, or feel free to PM myself, hobbyfan, and k9rocco.

Looking forward to moving this forward successfully!

If everyone could do me a huge favor, please send me a PM and let me know who you plan to trade with this month. Even if you plan to trade with noone. Also, if you are still interested in staying in a reorganized group or not. Thanks.

I looked at this quickly today, and realized that we are at a number of people in the group where 2 people groups do not work well. We would have 9 groups (with one only having one person) and that would put things out of whack.

I really need to get some input on this.

I am proposing that we keep the 'three people' groups, and I will work on match ups so that the next two months hopefully match people up accordingly so that there is not much overlap. Will try and have a proposed matchup for the next two months set up this weekend. LMK what y'all think.
